Minnesota Exposure / Dow Art Gallery Submission Form

Thank you for signing up for the Minnesota Exposure / Dow Art Gallery Photo Competition! Below you will find the submission form.

You can submit a photo to each of the three (3) categories below. The categories for the competition are: Portrait, Landscape, and Urban.

Prizes:

Grand Prizes:

First Place – $600 + photo book
Second Place – $300 + photo book
Third Place – $150 + photo book
People’s Choice – $100

Category Prizes (for each category):

First Place – $100
Second Place – $75
Third Place – $50
Fourth Place – $45
Fifth Place – $45

In the event of low turnout, competition payouts will be adjusted accordingly.

Rules

You may enter three (3) photos only.
The name of the photo should contain the category name for which it is entered.
More than three photographs entered by the same person will result in disqualification.
Photos submitted outside of the entry form will not be included.
Photographs are not limited to Minnesota.
Any previous Minnesota Exposure winning image or finalist image is ineligible.
Canvas or framed prints cannot exceed 16×24 for the print portion of the competition.
You are required to obtain your own print and frame. We have sponsors that print and frame:

April 1 – April 15 – Submissions and judging
April 22 – Framed photo deadline at Dow Art Gallery
April 24 – 26 – St. Paul Art Crawl
April 26 – Winners announced (Grand Prize and People’s Choice)
May – Photobooks distributed to winners, book made available for ordering

Submission Form

To submit your photos to the competition, complete the form below. To ensure there are no mistakes made with your images, we suggest the following naming convention: firstname_lastname_category.jpg. It is also suggested you provide a title or short description for your photograph(s). A title field will be provided for each photo. Submitted photos must be JPEG format and must be at least 2000px wide.

Information used in the book only includes: first and last names, and website URL. Email addresses will not be printed.
